Review: When the wizard’s away the trolls (and other Fairytale Land evil-doers) play. And that just about sums it up. Off on a golfing trip, The Wizard (Voiced by George Carlin) has no idea of the chaos that has overtaken his Domain. Evil stepmother Frieda (voiced by Sigourney Weaver) sees her opportunity and takes over the controls of Fairytale Land. She calls forth her “baddy” minions and proceeds to make sure that all traditional “fairytale endings” are foiled.
Can Ella (voiced by Sarah Michelle Gellar) and the “good guys” rally to save the day? You'll just have to take a few youngsters to the theater and find out. You may not be as enthralled as the little ones, but there are some clever lines and enough of a plot to make it bearable for the adults in tow.
