Review: Love breaks the time barrier as Alex (Keanu Reeves) and Kate (Sandra Bullock) somehow meet, though they exist in parallel worlds, two years apart. Both live in the same glass house on Lake Michigan, and both share the same pet dog, which seemingly has no trouble leaping back and forth through time. And therein lies the rub. Make no attempt to analyze the premise, though it is very tempting. Just accept it, sit back and enjoy the intriguing love story.

Director Alejandro Agresti must have had a ball with the out-of-time concept, juggling the fairy tale like story with delicate touches of believability. All considered, it is an entertaining romantic journey, a little off the beaten path.
