Review: What can I say? It’s
“Super!” Now that the accolades are out of the way, let’s
talk cast. Who really is Superman? The answer is simple, and it’s
not “Clark Kent”, but Brandon Routh. A Christopher Reeve
look-a-like, he fills out the costume nicely. Kate Bosworth makes
a convincing Lois Lane. A very bald Kevin Spacey is evil incarnate
as Lex Luther. Frank Langella’s Perry White drives The Daily
Planet like a bulldozer. And the impressive list goes on.
You'll find no spoilers here. The story picks up where the last
movie left off. Superman returns from a trip back into space which
he made to check-out a rumor that something might remain of his
home planet, Krypton. Enough to say that the man-of-steel is back
with a brand new story packed with thrills and intense comic book
drama. Two and a half hours of excitement await you. And it’s
all created under the knowing hand of director Bryan Singer.
