Review: After a long winter’s
hibernation nap, the forest creatures are running a little short on
food. Verne (Gary Shandling), self-proclaimed patriarch of his woodland
family takes a very conservative stance on survival skills. Enter
R.J. (Bruce Willis), a conniving raccoon who tries to sell the group
on a quick fix to fill their pantry, a hollow log. R.J. leads the
group to the very edge of their world, the hedge, and tries to educate
them in the art of scrounging from humans. Some great cross-species
satire ensues as the wildlife meets another type of “wild life”
style. Fun for all ages!
