Review: A war conditioned sociopath,
Jim Davis (Christian Bale) returns home from a tour in Afghanistan
with the hope of becoming an LAPD officer, but quickly returns to
his old pastimes, including violence and drugs. Soon his erratic,
brutal ways even cause his lifelong pal, Mike (Freddy Rodrigues) to
question his buddy’s sanity.
Shot in a dark, grainy 16mm format, this film deserves every bit
of its R rating, so be prepared for a violent ride to the underbelly
of life.
