Review: Dan Brown’s best
selling novel comes to the big screen packed with talent, Tom Hanks,
Audrey Tautou, Ian McKellen, Alfred Molina, to name a few. Under the
direction of Ron Howard they make a noble effort to create a masterpiece,
but the final project comes off more like a paint-by-numbers effort
than a Mona Lisa.
The popularity of the book along with the well publicized controversy
will ensure that the lines will be long, but don't judge a film
its box office take. This tale of Professor Robert Langdon who is
caught in the middle of a murder in the Louvre, does not live up
to the hype, or the novel. Sorry!
