Global Education Through the Arts
Gitana Productions, Inc. is launching “Global Education Through the Arts,” a new intercultural after-school arts program for youth 10-17, sponsored by a $15,000 grant from the Monsanto Fund. The free program will be held at the St. Louis Public Library’s Carpenter Branch, 3309 S. Grand Blvd., through the end of June. Book Signing: Are You Talking To Me? by Don Corey
will be sponsored by the Friends of Webster Groves Library at The Webster Groves Public Library, 301 E. Lockwood, Saturday, March 1 at 2pm. Don Corey died on October 21, 2007 while proofing his book. His DJ friends Mark Klose and Rich Dalton from KHITS will read from his book and sign autographs. Don, a former disc jockey, started at KSHE 95 on Christmas Eve 1968. His book relives his childhood days growing up in Webster Groves and what led to his passion for radio. He reveals some very humorous radio secrets from the original KSHE studio in Crestwood. His book is also online at amazon.com. (A portion of the proceeds will go to the Webster Groves Public Library.)
Fourth Annual Jack Glaser Memorial Trivia Night
